He visited the country just for the weekend to personally handcarry some very important WakaWaka Light samples to the new distributor in Kenya, Jeroen Pool from S3C. It was a last minute trip for a highly important shipment; the first WakaWaka Lights meant for the Kenyan market.
The name S3C stands for Solar for Sub-Saharan Schools and Communities and is a social enterprise. Their mission is to introduce solar energy in rural area’s in Kenya and other sub-saharan countries in Africa and learn people there more about solar power and its benefits for the community. The introduction in schools and health clinics is their main priority.
