Shipibo
Wim van Dijk recently went to Peru for four weeks and provided a group of Shibibo Indians with 17 WakaWaka Powers. They have a lot of knowledge about the forces and medicinal features of the plants of the jungle. The Maestro Diogenes have received a vision that the knowledge and traditions they have should be shared with the developed world. The Santuario is located a few kilometers from the village Dinamarca . The area has no permanent electricity , running water or communications. It has a diesel generator that only works a few nights a week between 18:00 and 21:00 running to educate the public lighting and any TV that one possesses . There is one central telephone in the village.

Everyone deserves access to energy
At WakaWaka, we believe sustainable energy is a basic human right — not a luxury. By harnessing the power of the sun, we provide reliable light and power to anyone, anywhere — from adventurers off the grid to communities without electricity.
