Refugees in Lesbos
Thousands of refugees arrive on the shores of Lesbos every week with next to nothing. Save the Children has distributed 1100 WakaWaka Powers to the most vulnerable families and children on the island. The Powers enable families to gain access to information and stay in touch with their loved ones , a basic need for many of the families. Moreover the solar lights provide a much needed source of light and safety in the camps which often have little lighting.

Everyone deserves access to energy
At WakaWaka, we believe sustainable energy is a basic human right — not a luxury. By harnessing the power of the sun, we provide reliable light and power to anyone, anywhere — from adventurers off the grid to communities without electricity.
