As a res­ult of a long­stand­ing co­oper­a­tion between schools in Haar­lem (the Neth­er­lands) and schools in Mutare 600 WakaWaka Lights were donated to school chil­dren in Mutare who do not have ac­cess to elec­tri­city. With sup­port from the loc­al or­gan­iz­a­tion in Mutare, the WakaWaka Lights were dis­trib­uted fairly amongs the stu­dents who need them most. These WakaWa­kas will re­place dan­ger­ous and tox­ic Ker­osene lights and en­able the chil­dren to study at night.
